Billing questions
What counts as an identification? +
Each time the agent identifies a browser and gets a request ID back. Reading events, searching, the visitor API and webhooks cost nothing, and a result the agent reuses from its cache isn't counted again.
How does billing work? +
It's pay as you go: after each monthly billing cycle you pay for the identifications you used, with no plans or commitments. The Usage page in the dashboard shows the month so far and an estimate of its bill.
Which currencies can I pay in? +
Euros, US dollars, pounds and 23 more, each with its own fixed prices. Pick the currency in your organization's settings; every project in it bills in that currency, and budgets and key spend limits use it too.
What happens when I reach a budget or limit? +
Identification pauses until the period resets or you raise the limit. The agent resolves with capped: true instead of a request ID, so your login and checkout keep working without an identification.
Is there a limit during the beta? +
Yes. During the beta a project can make 20,000 identifications in all, not per month, and they're free, since they fall within the monthly free volume. The Billing page shows what's left. Ask us to raise it; once raised, the first … of every month stay free.
What if it's not for me? +
Then you get your money back. If you're not satisfied in the first three months after your first paid bill, we refund everything you paid in that time, no questions asked. Just email us.
Can I stop at any time? +
Yes. There's no contract on pay as you go: stop identifying and the next bill only covers what you used.
Are these the final prices? +
Not yet. Billing isn't live, so the prices are estimates and nothing is charged.
